Office of Intercultural Unity
The mission of the Office of Intercultural Unity is to promote Christian unity in our college community and beyond. We specifically address issues of racial, cultural, and ethnic diversity.
Activities sponsored by the Office of Intercultural Unity:
- Multicultural & International Orientation
We provide this orientation to encourage building relationships with and among students. It happens at the start of each academic year just before the general student orientation. Northwestern College is a supportive environment, and we strive to give new students the sense of belonging during their first days in this community and throughout their stay at NWC.
- On-Campus Meetings & Events
Students organize groups which provide times for discussion, Bible study, prayer, and support, as well as social activities each semester.
- Off-Campus Events
Other activities students can participate in include: Retreat in September; various services and ministries; educational activities; social activities and concerts of special interest to our students.
- Mu Kappa
Mu Kappa is a fraternal association of the children of missionaries. Learn More about the Northwestern chapter.
- National Christian Multicultural Student Leadership Conference (NCMSLC)
All NWC students are welcome to participate in activities, clubs, and groups!
Visit the International Student FAQs for more information about joining the Northwestern community if you are a non-U.S. resident.
