Intercultural Orientation | August 20-22, 2008

Intercultural Orientation provides additional orientation, support and fellowship for incoming international students, students of color and missionary kids (MKs). It is designed to allow new students who may otherwise find the transition from their home culture to NWC a large and even awkward step to move on to the campus early, develop relationships and gain a comfort level with their new surroundings prior to the general student body's arrival. Though not required, it is highly recommended by students who have previously participated, many of whom become the mentors for others

New students will be paired with an intercultural mentor (current student), who will provide assistance they adjust to life at Northwestern throughout their first semester.

Intercultural Orientation occurs Wednesday–Friday, August 20–22, for the two days prior to general orientation required for all students August 22–26.
